Eat, pray , love

UBUD, Indonesia : Providence smiled on Balinese seer Ketut Liyer the day US tourist Elizabeth Gilbert came to visit -- her memoir, "Eat, Pray, Love", would make him richer than he ever dreamed.

The fortune teller said to be aged in his 90s -- no one knows exactly -- was a poor man when he looked into Gilbert's eyes and predicted she would live in Bali and find true love.

Gilbert worked her own magic and Ketut's prediction became the stuff of Hollywood fantasy.

Now there is a line of camera-toting tourists waiting outside his home to hear their own fortunes told, at 25 dollars a pop.

That's a fortune for a man who is more accustomed to bartering his predictions for simple gifts from local villagers.

"From 8:00 am to 6:00 pm every day ... 50 people on average," said his son, Nyoman, who acts as a translator.

"It's a great life," he adds, as he checks the sequence of "clients".

As black storm clouds rolled across the sky one recent Sunday afternoon, the courtyard outside Ketut's comfortable wooden house was packed with visitors, male and female, from all corners of the globe.

"Look! It's him!" said 26-year-old American Mary as she fumbled excitedly for her camera.

Songbirds fluttered in cages suspended among frangipani and orchid blossoms, as Ketut -- wearing traditional Balinese cloth headware, a sarong and a T-shirt -- sat cross-legged on the porch and held his 20-minute consultations.

Most of the sessions -- which can involve readings or massages -- seem to end in optimistic predictions of love and happiness, according to the customers surveyed by AFP.

"He told me the same thing he told my friend: I'll be rich, happy, and I'll have two children. OK ... but at least I can say I met him," said Mareyka, a 29-year-old South African.

Anna, an Australian, also came with a friend.

"I was here in 2005. This was before the novel and the advertising," she said, pointing to a poster extolling Ketut's powers.

"At the time, he made me read paragraphs from a big book. It was amazing. Today, he's tired. There are so many people."

As the sun set, the Western customers kept coming. Each new arrival frowned at the sight of those before them, as if they expected to have Ketut all to themselves.

And the Balinese customers?

"He saw them earlier in the morning and only accepted gifts in kind," Nyoman explained.

The rain began to fall. The soothsayer took the opportunity to have a break. The tourists would have to wait.

auspious charm that bring great attraction

PaladKit is an auspicious talisman often mistaken for an obscene object. In fact it has been widely used by the Thai People for protection, enhancement of business, harmonious relationships, and most importantly, for warding off evil spirits or ghost. Sometimes it is also referred to Palad. PaladKit derives from Pali language. The origin of the PaladKit is related to Lord Shiva, the Indian Hindu God who manifes himself in the form of "Linga", the male genital and sometimes together with "Yoni", the female genital. It symbolises the power of creation, strength of unity and the source of destruction, similar to the Chinese "Yang" element. It was brought into Thailand together with the Khmer invasion as early as 8th century AD, but it was in a bigger size and was the main object of worship at the centre of many Khmer temples. The present style that could be worn over the waist with a string was made famous by Luang Phor Yi of Wat Sattaheep, Chunburi. His famous and usual inscriptions on the PaladKit were "Gan Had Nei Had". These were invariably written in an old form of script called "Khom" that cannot be read by contemporary Thais but is now widely used by most PaladKit makers.PaladKit could be carved from wood, bone, horn , ivory or made from mixed herbal powder and even metal. Some PaladKits are in plain form, while others could come in many forms, the most common ones are monkey holding the PaladKit, naked lady laying herself over the PaladKit and lizard with split tail, other forms are available as well. Linga in phallic pillar form and Yoni discovered at ruins of Petchabun province dated 10th century.

The Thai name for a penis amulet is palad khik, which means "honorable surrogate penis." These small charms, averaging less than 2' in length, are worn by boys and men on a waist-string under the clothes, off-center from the real penis, in the hope that they will attract and absorb any magical injury directed toward the generative organs. It is not uncommon for a man to wear several palad khiks at one time, one to increase gambling luck, for instance, another to attract women, and a third for invulnerability from bullets and knives. women in Thailand do not generally wear palad khiks, nor is there a Thai equivalent of the vulva amuletfor them to use -- although a circular disk amulet called a chaping is worn by young girls to protect their genitals from evil forces.
The palad khik amulet is said to have originated in the Siva linga of India and to have been imported to Thailand by Cambodian monks in the 8th century AD. Early styles of palad khik bear inscribed invocations, entreaties, and praises to Siva later ones combine these with interlineated invocations and praises to Buddha; modern ones bear uniformly Buddhist inscriptions, invariably written in an old form of script that cannot be read by contemporary Thais.

Although palad khik amulets are not designed specifically to use in love spells, among American eclectic pagans, witches, and magicians, they are often employed that way at the present time.

5 police being cursed by black magic???

Recently, five Malaysian policemen had a black magic curse sent to them. The curse is known as the "santau katak puru" which literally means "frog knot voodoo" and involves a frog which was placed in the homes of the policemen. If the frog died, the policemen would also die.

It’s quite dangerous to be a policeman in Malaysia. Not only are policemen in Malaysia threatened physically by criminals, they may also fall victim to black magic curses as what happened to five Malaysian policemen recently.

The frightening thing about the black magic curse that befell the five policemen is that the perpetrator didn’t need any belongings from the five men to be able to cast the black magic spell upon them. The perpetrator can simply bury a hex beneath the victim’s house and some strange illness will infect him.

This is what happened to the five policemen. They fell ill and their stomach became bloated and they had chronic stomach ache. Doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with them so they resorted to a traditional shaman.

The shaman confirmed their fears that a black magic curse had been cast upon all five of them and it’s known as “santau katak puru” or frog knot voodoo.

A “santau” is a traditional Malay black magic curse which is so powerful that it can be sent to the victim without the perpetrator having any belongings of the victim. It’s the most feared way of being cursed.

The five policemen suspected that they’ve been cursed by a criminal whom they’ve managed to apprehend on suspicion of motorcycle theft. The criminal had since been out on bail and that is when he sent the black magic curse upon the five policemen.

In this modern times and scientific advances, we can still see people resorting to black magic in order to accomplish goals that usually involve fame, fortune and glory. Instead of working hard, they want a short cut. Instead of facing the charges for a crime, the above criminal sent a black magic curse on his accusers. There should be a way that Malaysian policemen can protect themselves from all attacks; be it physical or spiritual and perhaps a new legislation that can deal with black magic curses should be enforced otherwise we will find that black magic practitioners will be able to not only get away with many crimes, they may also be able to control our politicians and judges and what would become of Malaysia if that happens?

keep a golden spirit child with you for guidance

What is this golden child spirit all about?

They are child beings of the ghost realm who are converted to Buddhism by the monks who made the roop/ bucha. Using the roop/ bucha as their temporary body, they must try to earn enough merit (by helping their owner or otherwise) to be reborn into a higher realm.

Venerating a thai amulet golden child spirit is no different from taking care of a child. An owner must not only clothe & feed it diligently (through daily offerings), but should communicate with it whenever possible also. Let them hear recitations of the Dhamma & as the child spirit gains right understanding, it will progress quickly and eventually be liberated from its ghostly form.

If a person could really take care of such a them well, it will help its benefactor fulfill their wholesome wishes in this life & the next. Even after they are reborn, they will still come back somehow to be of service.

Therefore those who own them should have the right motivation in order to earn merit for oneself as well as for the spirit.

What are the benefit of having them:

1. He can watch the house for his owners when they are away and warn them in case of danger.

2. He is a spirit which could help to solve difficulties in the owners' business.

3. He could help you get useful news and information in your business. In this point the owners must have strong mind in order to develop a kind of telepathy with golden spirit child. He could also whisper to the mind of his owner to warn him in case of danger. Sometimes golden spirit child comes to talk to you in your dream and sometimes through a medium.

4. He will protect you from danger, disaster, and evil spirit.

5. He could be a weapon used to destroy the enemy. Nowadays we can hardly find any kind of golden spirit child who has this power. But, sometimes golden spirit child can help us to stay away from danger and people who want to destroy us.

6. He could add you charm, act as love charm

7. He can bring you good luck, act as good luck charm

8. He can increase advantage in your business by inviting the customers to your stores, act as wealth charm

The master who create this told me that this golden spirit child is converted to a thai amulet by him and more than 108 high power masters in a very powerful ceremony.
To make this thai amulet very effective and active in "working for the owner", he add in the bones of this small child so that the connection will be easier and work faster and more effectively.

So How effective is this amulet?

I has received a email from the buyers about them and below is 1 of the feedback:

Bro,

I just want to let you know that your items have shown great results even when I've only gotten it a week ago.

One time I give me grey colour guman sweets, he went to play with the sweets. I went out of my room, came back, and the sweets was arranged in a very neat line! It's amazing! I got a shock cuz I have never experienced such obvious results for my spirit items! And he helped me win a lot of money when I gamble with my friend. The moment I told him "if you me, I will buy you sweets, if I lose, no sweets for you", next round I won maximum already!!! Hahaha!

Who will face bad luck or problem in 2011????

Accroding to the chinese magic, Tai Sui is being referred to as Grand Duke Jupiter or Grand Commander of the Year. In actual fact, the Tai Sui is the divine deity taking charge of the world's general affairs for the particular year. The heaven sends Him to look after mishaps and disastrous happenings and provide protection. A person's bliss, health, luck and misfortune are all under the care of Him. It actually serves as a reminder to avoid misdeeds, to take good care of health and to involve in more benevolent activities and to avoid offending the Tai Sui so that misfortune will not strike. He will note the good deeds and misdeeds of people.

Every year, there are a few Zodiac will in disagreement with the Tai Sui and there is a custom of praying to Tai Sui started centuries ago since Zhou dynasty .

This year, the zodiac in disagreement with the Tai Sui are the rabbit, rooster, rat, dragon and horse. The disagreements are further termed as Conflicting Tai Sui, Offending Tai Sui, Torturing Tai Sui, Harming Tai Sui and Breaking Tai Sui.

Conflicting/Confronting Tai Sui - The ROOSTER conflicts the Tai Sui in 2011. It means the ROOSTER confronts the Tai Sui directly from the opposite direction like in "wrestling position" with the Tai Sui. No one can win the Tai Sui because he will be the victorious wrestler of the year. This kind of energy conflict is the fiercest of all. It implies high risk, crisis, inconsistency in fortune and difficulty in every aspect. Problems associated to such a disagreement are for example the death of a loved family member, accidents, injuries, death, hospitalization, money loss, bankruptcy, demotion and losing a job. There will also be possible changes in the love relationship, therefore one has to exercise caution. Therefore, the ROOSTER should consider doing more charity in 2011.

Offending Tai Sui - The RABBIT offends the Tai Sui in 2011. The seriousness of offending Tai Sui will be considered as 2nd to conflicting the Tai Sui. Those who offend the Tai Sui will feel weak for the whole year and suffers from bad temper which results in poor human relationship. They will frequently fall sick, get wounded and suffer from love problems. Therefore one has to exercise regularly and eat nutritiously. One should also not stay out for late nites because a lot of evil things can happen to one when the luck is not good.

Torturing Tai Sui - The RAT tortures the Tai Sui in 2011. When torturing the Tai Sui, the year spells no good harvest. There will a lot of contradictory problems afflicting them. Gossips, scandals and bad relationship with people are going to be a norm at work and even hard work will not pay off well at the end. Crisis after crisis will occur. Crisis implies troubles, obstructions, failures in investments and blood mishaps. Therefore this is going to be a non-fruitful year for those torturing the Tai Sui. The whole year will just go to waste. The best is to stay low profile. They can also learn up meditation and pick up some spiritual paths.

What to do if you are Conflicting Tai Sui, Offending Tai Sui, Torturing Tai Sui, Harming Tai Sui and Breaking Tai Sui??????

Pray to this bad luck eater god, phra rahu!

Tian Gou Tun Yueor the story of the celestial dog swallowing the Moon is a well- known mythology to all Chinese. The Thais refer to this as Rahu Om Chan The Thai mythology is delivering this as a celestial demon, which has a huge mouth and a voracious appetite that would swallow every thing, including the moon and the sun. This phenomenon what we know today in astronomy as the eclipse. The Thais believe, that Rahu can be very helpful to a person encountering obstacles in life or going through a phase of bad luck. It is commonly believed, that a person will have bad luck or encounter obstacles when his Chinese horoscope clashes with that of the particular year.As Rahu is capable of swallowing every thing, wearing a Rahu thai amulet, would help appease Rahu.;It is by paying respect to Rahu, Rahu will then readily devour all of your bad luck or even neutralise the bad energy and spit out good luck and fortune to you.
